Nov 11 - BeautyScene - Balenciaga will launch a new floral fragrance for women in December 2013 - Rosabotanica.
Fragrantica - Rosabotanica is the second flower in the Balenciaga magical garden founded with Florabotanica perfume from 2012. Rosabotanica presents its fresh version with a touch of sheerness and a second skin feeling.
This floral fragrance is based on spicy rose. It opens with crystal accents of blue hyacinth and milky green character of fig leaf, refreshed by petitgrain. Rose in this composition reveals its sparkling and herbal facets increased by bitter drops of grapefruit and spicy cardamom and pink pepper. The base is composed of white amber, cedar, vetiver, patchouli and clean woody notes.
The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
** UPD ** CosmeticsBusiness - Once again created by Olivier Polge and Jean-Christophe Herault of IFF. The outer packaging features the same florals as Florabotanica. The fragrance will be available in perfumeries and selected Balenciaga outlets.
It can be pre-ordered now at Neiman Marcus, at a cost of $100 for a 50ml EDP. In Europe, the fragrance will cost €53 for 30ml, €75 for 50ml and €105 for 100ml.
The perfume will be publicised by actress Kristen Stewart of the Twilight film franchise, in an ad campaign shot by British photographer Craig McDean. The campaign will roll out on a country-by-country basis depending on orders.
